Female Orgasm: A codex of sorts, after Ursula K Le Guin is a hand screen-printed artists’ book by Emily Floyd produced in collaboration with Experimental Jetset, Amsterdam, published and printed by Negative Press, Melbourne, with text supplement by Anneke Jaspers. A typographic response to Le Guin’s Kesh word BANHE, meaning “acceptance, inclusion, insight, understanding; female orgasm. To include; to comprehend; to have orgasm (female).” The project belongs to a body of works that retrieve Le Guin’s language from an indefinitely deferred future, activating its revolutionary desire in the present. Available from April 20.

Mode and Mode is a periodical that addresses printed matter in fashion practice. Each issue explores experimental publishing in fashion with an interview around a print-based project at the margins—one that has critical effects to fashion as a discourse—with the aim to level alternative, lesser-known fashion practices with contemporary fashion discourse.

Mode and Mode four ‘fashion without fashion’ features a reprint of the publication Friction/Parade 99 (1999) created by Keupr/Van Bentm in collaboration with Experimental Jetset.
